Beverly M. Griffor, PhD, JD, MBA
Dr. Griffor is a Licensed Psychologist who works with patients facing anxiety disorders, depression, mood difficulties, addiction recovery, trauma, and family/relationship counseling. She is also works with court involved families, including families involved in divorce or involved with probation/parole agencies.
Dr. Griffor also completes forensic assessments related to individual or family functionality, such as custody evaluations, IPE's, or competency based evaluations. Dr. Griffor primarily follows a cognitive behavioral model of therapy, which focuses on evidence based treatments. She also utilizes aspects of what might be considered more traditional talk therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Emotion-Focused approaches. Dr. Griffor is engaged in research and writing in relation to forensic psychology, offender rehabilitation, cultural competency, and assessment.
